Collection: Batik Collection

This collection is inspired by vibrant and intricate batik pattern designs found in Singapore and various south East Asian countries.
Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, and it's a form of art that is highly developed in these regions.

Each section of the tray features a different themes, yet the patterns flow seamlessly across the divisions, suggesting a unity in diversity, much like the cultural melting pot of Singapore celebrating Southeast Asian artistic heritage.

An extension of Javanese royalty, Batik textile designs were highly present in the 18th Century due to their attractive color combinations matched with intricate motif design.
