The Scarlet Set of 6 Coasters

Having mainly imported ceramic tiles from Japan since the 1920s, the handpainted motifs often took after eastern folklore where auspicious symbolism was highly regarded as an important feature of Peranakan decor. Today, whether peranakan-owned or not, these symbols continue to make their residency in many homes across Singapore, 

Coasters come in a set of 6 and are packed in wooden containers for easy storage.

Material: The base is made out of solid MDF wood to prevent slipping off of surfaces.
